How are you changing the way you do business for 2009?

in Recruiting

It is a tradition of Americans to look at the New Year with higher expectation and changes in habits.

In fact, more people traditionally join gyms than any other time of the year.
Business is no different and as leaders we must interrogate the reality of the market and see where we need to move and change how we are doing business.  The fantastic reality of the real estate industry is that money is always changing hands.  The challenge is to find them and do it quickly.

We know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting

different results. (Einstein)

Keller Williams is actively interrogating the market and trends and finding the streams of revenue in this industry for 2009.

How are you changing the way you do business for 2009?  To find out how we are embracing the market and finding ways to make money, please give me a call.  I can be reached at 251.928.9890 or 225.278.7595.

This post hits the mark! We all get caught in personal and professional ruts. Breaking out of them is sort of like quitting any bad habit, in that we might have to try two or three times for it to take!

What are we doing, We are Hiring More Agents to handle the leads we are getting. We already have about 5 contract that will close in the new year & adding more daily. With the rates the way they are i cant wait.

Mike,

I think things are really starting to align themselves for a good year. But, how things have been going lately it can turn on a dime. I think the most important thing is to be able to track how people are connecting with you and what they are searching for. Once you have that info then it is time to shit your promotion to that area of the market.

Well I am putting more money to work in the areas of my business that have been producing, and re-evaluating those that are not for possible cuts. I would cut direct mail but with all the oldsters in my farm, it is still the best way to reach them, though there has to be a more efficient / cost effective way of doing it.

James W I think you meant shift your promotion.

Although markets change - there is always opportunity - it is good to be aligned with a company that does recognize the importance of trends in the market and takes a pro-active vs. reactive stance.

I know this is an article from 4 months ago, but I really like this quote and how it applies to our changing times. I witness this in my daily business everyday, how agents are stuck with the old ways of doing business and fail to change for the times. I hope every has a great 2009 and beyond.
