I just made it down to Gulf Shores the other day. Thank goodness that have that oil spill under control…FINALLY! Before you know it, Gulf Shores will be thriving with it’s beautiful white sand beaches.
You can’t stop it, but at least you can be aware when it happens. If you set up a Google Alert with you name, Google will e-mail when they find a new site with your name (or any other phrase). I once got a Google alert titled “the Death Notice of Ned Carey”
When I first read this blog post I laughed, but I suppose it really isn’t funny! To anyone with a professional reputation to protect, it’s no laughing matter. Unfortunately, I suppose there is very little we can do to control search engine results for our names. Hopefully as time moves on the public will become aware of the fact that just because you find someone on the web it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the person you are looking for! Good luck with all this, I hope the initiative works out!

It is a shame that Carolyn happens to share the same name with someone who made headlines in a negative light. It looks like there are quite a few bloggers helping with her online reputation.
We want to come out that way for a little vacation but husband got sent out of town. The name thing I think it matches the name of the mother of the young lady that was in the papers.
This is a form of identity theft. There’s got to be a way to turn this around. I just found a site repuration defenders dot com, you might to want to check it out.
For the longest time a minister in the UK dominated the search results for my name – now it is me. Having said that, how many people actually search for anyone by name?

Its happened, if you are very much in, and made some press releases , or social profile Google will start showing you, but in real estate business, we want that people we recognize us with good name.
That’s really bad to use others name for marketing. but as she is that popular in Real Estate Investment business that spammers might not have controlled themselves from spying her name..
I have never been to Gulf Shores but my family and I would love to move to Rosemary beach or another of the Beaches of South Walton…..from your pictures they look very similar.
This happens. The best way to be aware is to set the google alert or the google notification on your email id. So that whenever there is a new crawl google detects than it is immediate notified on your email id.
This is a good news for real estate investors and buyers. It means life is picking up after a hard days.May it would continue to be always in good times in Manassas VA Real Estate.
