2920292 carmel

So just how hard would it be to rank for the term "2920292 carmel"?

Well, for some it would be very difficult and for others not very.

It depends on your skill sets and the amount of effort.  I am sure that many Realtor webmasters would be able to give a good showing here and there would be many that would not be able to rank for the term even if they were the only ones in the world using the term. However, MIBOR MLS Board and the NAR want to stifle the progress of REALTORS AGAIN!

But why 2920292 carmel ? Check out this story to see why - http://agentgenius.com/?p=12261

Would I search for such a term?  Well, yeah!  Some people get it and some don’t.  It is about time that those that get it become makers of policy, not those that don’t have a clue!

Why in the world there are so many hard heads that want something for nothing.  If you can do it, do it.  If you can’t, don’t attack those that can, prosper from it together.  If your talent is ranking, do it.  If your talent is getting listings, do it!  If your talent is working buyers, do it!  This whole brokerage thing can’t be a one man show!

I wish that everyone in the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and serving on any of the Multiple Listing Services Boards (MLS) would go get a copy of Atlas Shrugged and read it before making any more unwise decisions.

Just as Hank Reardon built great steel mills and Dagny Taggert built great Railway Systems, we the Tech Savvy Agents seek to create great relevant content for the benefit of Buyers and Sellers.  We are bringing something to the table for the benefit of all including the Listing Agents.  Those that don’t have the drive and desire want to take away from these tech producers. They have great contempt for the producers, and they will stop at nothing to get their fingers in the pie even when it is to the detriment of all.  They are so blinded by jealousy and feelings of being "fair", that they finally prove what their ideals really are - destructive!

The underhanded power grabs and decisions that are neither beneficial to Buyers or Sellers, but only to listing agents that want a double header and a return to the days when the Buyer was not represented at all are no more than greed and self dealing disguised as being fair and doing so at the expense of others!

If you don’t want your content indexed in search engines, do not put it on the internet!  And for goodness sakes, you have a duty to your clients to let them know how you feel and that you don’t want their home advertised broadly because you might not get the whole commission and the buyer might get sound representation!

Tech savvy agents why don’t you make a post about "2920292 carmel" and make a statement! Get ranked for the term!  This morning there are 14 results with most in foreign fonts.

By the way there is no MLS Data making this post rank, but why wouldn’t the NAR and the MLS want it to.  Don’t they represent Agents that represent Sellers that want their property seen in as many places as possible?  Aren’t they trying to find the Seller a Buyer?  Don’t they all have an ethical and fiduciary duty to do so?

It’s funny how much they want to hurt the innovators in the name of fairness, but then turn around and give EVERYTHING to r.com. Can we ask them to take r.com down to avoid any more scraping?

Cal - I had never even thought about the comparison to Atlas Shrugged (one of my favorite books of all time), yet as soon as I saw the words in your post, I knew where you were heading with it. Nice literary reference. I may have to just try the ranking thing - could be an interesting protest to the MLS committee.

PS There’s something wrong with the alignment of your Twitter and Website boxes (as well as the text’s font size). Didn’t know which box was supposed to be which, so I took a guess the first time and was wrong, hence the messy look “from” section.

I think it’s terrible that we can’t use addresses (or any other IDX feed data) into our title tags. One of the biggest benefits I’ve seen for our website is the ability for the MLS data to be indexed.

I totally disagree with the NAR’s decision here.

As this issue evolves over the next couple of weeks, I pray NAR makes it’s decisions based on supporting the memberships ability to represent their clients to the best of their ability. Not turning this issue around and looking at it from a Seller’s perspective will just not do. Our fiduciary duties outlined in the Code of Ethics is hampered by this type of “unintended consequences” decision.

In a real estate man’s eye, the most expensive part of the city is where he has a house to sell
